Lucas Tree Experts is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Falmouth, ME

Falmouth, ME

Lucas Tree Experts, a leader in the tree care industry, is growing their IT team by adding an IT Support Technician at our Corporate Office located in Falmouth, Maine. This is a full-time, hourly position, working Monday-Friday with some overtime as needed to meet business demand. Travel is not typical in this role. Pay is dependent upon experience.

The IT Support Technician will provide assistance to fellow Lucas Tree Experts employees with applications and assigned devices. The IT Support technician will also be part of the team that maintains an inventory of devices and provisions them for deployment as needed. This role requires the training and support of end users in person, over the phone, via email, and/or over web applications.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team and independently, have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to problem solve. Experience with the following a plus: Mobile device management, Office 365 administration, windows and network support and troubleshooting.

Job Duties include, but not limited to Technical and process support questions from end users. Logging and tracking support cases and solutions. Documenting processes and training remote users. Provisioning and deploying hardware including phones, mobile devices, computers, and printers. Office 365 and Windows operating system support. Software installation and updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office 365
  • Experience with Android and/or iPhone support
  • Provide excellent customer service over the phone or in-person
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with limited access to remote users
  • Good problem solving and critical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
  • Able to lift and move 50 pounds
  • Required:Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent
